Cuatro de Julio
Trixton - Clarabelle
Cuatro de Julio combines the best of American bloodlines with the finest French lines. Add talent and speed of top-crop caliber, and it’s no wonder he attracted great interest in Lexington last fall, where his debut crop averaged $37,200.
Cuatro de Julio began his career as a two-year-old, completely dominating the short tracks at Mayfield and Lebanon. When he arrived in Lexington as a two-year-old, he immediately proved himself one of the top horses of his crop with double wins in the Kentucky Sire Stakes. He also won the International Stallion as a two-year-old. At three, he finished second in the Kentucky Futurity behind Jujubee and fourth in the Breeders Crown. As a four-year-old, Cuatro de Julio won the Charlie Hill Memorial at Scioto Downs in a track record and broke the 1:50 barrier, by a record at 1:49,4 (1.08,0) at Meadowlands!
Cuatro de Julio’s damsire is Ready Cash, and his French maternal line produces stars and stallions. His dam, Clarabelle, trotted 1:57,1 (1.12,8) and earned €155,410, including a victory at Vincennes. She is also the dam of For July 1:52,1 (1.09,7), Tolouse Lautrec 1:53,3 (1.10,6), and Clarafrance 1:54,3 (1.11,2). His third dam, Island Dream, was a top French mare with nearly six million euros in earnings, including wins in the Prix Capucine, Prix Ozo, and Prix Masina. In breeding, she has produced the stallions Infinitif and Not Disturb!
Cuatro de Julio’s rapid generational turnover, sky-high ability, and extraordinary appearance give him a clear advantage in breeding.
His first crop is entering the tracks in 2026!
